Beautylabo Honey Blonde Review

Hi loves! Welcome back to my beauty blog! Today I’ll be reviewing another product -in this case an “unheard” brand of hair dyes. I actually never heard of this brand before but I give it a shot anyway cuz it was the cheapest in WATSONS costing only S$9.90! Anyway, thats not the only reason why I got it. Its because from the picture provided on the box somehow I’ve got a strong gut feeling that it’ll match the rest of my grown out hair (I already have a dyed hair I’m just touching up my roots)

I had a pretty dark roots so it will turn as per shown on the picture. But looking a the box the color is very much intimidating cuz it seems very yellow. But having experience with a bunch of hair dyes before this it always turns out to be subtle wearable brown or coppery color. So I go for this Honey Blonde.

Here’s a before and after picture of mine after using this product. I actually leave it in for an hour instead of the recommended time which is 30-45mins.

Directions in how to mix this dye is pretty much the same as any other dyes which comes in a box. Pretty easy and noob free in my opinion -haha..

So here’s my oppinions on the hair dye:

PROS

  • Easy to use like any other hair dyes ie. Revlon.
  • Cheap (if you’re talking about drugstore brand of hair dyes this one is the cheapest you’ll ever find)
  • Not drying to the hair (not sure how yours will react cuz I did leave it in more than the recommended time)
  • The chemical scent is not so strong (for me atleast).
  • Doesn’t sting my scalp like some dyes do.

CONS

So far I do like this product alot and if theres a thing that I do not like about it is definitely just the consistency of the hair dye. Its really watery so you have to be very careful otherwise you might have it all over the bathroom or your shirt.

Nevertheless this is a good product indeed. Cheap and effective! Highly recommended!

So that’s all I have to say about this hair dye. Until the next review! Toodles!

Loads of love,

Organix Argan Oil of Morocco 3pcs Starter Kit Review

Hi ladies! Welcome back to my blog posts! As you can tell from the title itself I am going to review the Organix Argan Oil of Morocco 3pcs Starter Kit.

I’ve dealt with breakage, hair damage, heat damage and all sort of other damages when it came to my hair for a long time and my concern was to find an alternative products to replace my current hair products which is by Shea Moisture (Coconut and Hibiscus Line). Don’t get me wrong, I love those to bits but its just that where I am (Singapore) they don’t sell it here so its kinda hard for me to get my hands on them. So, since I was already using Organix products in the past and so far my hair reacted well to it I decided to give Organix Argan Oil of Morocco a try by purchasing the 3pcs Starter Kit.

It didn’t say anything about it being any use to curly hair but I figured I would try it just for trying sake anyway. Furthermore the discription on the bottle is what attracted me most. Here’s what it says:

Why You Want It…
This exotic precious blend of Moroccan argan oil penetrates, moisturizes, renews and creates softness and strength while protecting your hair from harmful styling heat and UV damage as it gives you smooth, sexy tresses.

…and I believe every word that it has mentioned! After using it, when my hair already air dried fully -its sooooo soft, bouncy, voluminous and it also creates crazily defined curls. That’s the pros.

The cons however, it doesn’t tame frizz. Once the hair dries Ms. Frizzy start popping. (In other words, my hair was defined but with frizz.)

I can still wear my hair down despite the frizz cuz whats a curly hair without frizz, right?

How to use:

Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo: Apply OGX Shampoo generously to wet hair, massage into a lather through to ends, then rinse the hair thoroughly. After shampooing, follow with OGX Conditioner. For best results, use in conjunction with other OGX products.

Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner: After shampooing with OGX Shampoo, apply OGX Conditioner generously to hair, working through ends. Wait 3-5 minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly. For best results, use in conjunction with other OGX products.

Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil: Apply a small amount of OGX Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Serum to palm, rub hands together, then apply evenly to surface of damp hair (towel dried) hair working through to ends. For best results, use in conjunction with other OGX Moroccan Argan Oil products.

Anyway this is just my blog entry, if you wish to take a look at how my curls actually turned out to be you can take a look on my YouTube Channel: https://youtu.be/W7hgJwfWdcQ for more in depth review.

So my final verdict on this product is, yes, I will purchase the full size once I ran out of these little babies.

That’s all on this review! Hope it helps someone out there who is searching for reasons to purchase it. ^_^

Take care!

Until the next review post! 🙂
