Hi loves! Welcome back to my beauty blog! Today I’ll be reviewing another product -in this case an “unheard” brand of hair dyes. I actually never heard of this brand before but I give it a shot anyway cuz it was the cheapest in WATSONS costing only S$9.90! Anyway, thats not the only reason why I got it. Its because from the picture provided on the box somehow I’ve got a strong gut feeling that it’ll match the rest of my grown out hair (I already have a dyed hair I’m just touching up my roots)
I had a pretty dark roots so it will turn as per shown on the picture. But looking a the box the color is very much intimidating cuz it seems very yellow. But having experience with a bunch of hair dyes before this it always turns out to be subtle wearable brown or coppery color. So I go for this Honey Blonde.
Here’s a before and after picture of mine after using this product. I actually leave it in for an hour instead of the recommended time which is 30-45mins.
Directions in how to mix this dye is pretty much the same as any other dyes which comes in a box. Pretty easy and noob free in my opinion -haha..
So here’s my oppinions on the hair dye:
PROS
- Easy to use like any other hair dyes ie. Revlon.
- Cheap (if you’re talking about drugstore brand of hair dyes this one is the cheapest you’ll ever find)
- Not drying to the hair (not sure how yours will react cuz I did leave it in more than the recommended time)
- The chemical scent is not so strong (for me atleast).
- Doesn’t sting my scalp like some dyes do.
CONS
So far I do like this product alot and if theres a thing that I do not like about it is definitely just the consistency of the hair dye. Its really watery so you have to be very careful otherwise you might have it all over the bathroom or your shirt.
Nevertheless this is a good product indeed. Cheap and effective! Highly recommended!
So that’s all I have to say about this hair dye. Until the next review! Toodles!
